Sava Stojkov (1925-2014) was a Serbian painter of our time. He was born in 1925 in Sombor in former Yugoslavia and painted since his childhood. As a recognized professional painter, he took part in many solo and group exhibitions. The landscape and people of "Vojvodina" gave him inspiration for his paintings. His rural portraits are of great accuracy and expressiveness. The same is true for his landscapes; every little detail has its meaning. Stojkov devoted all his attention and creative power exclusively to this subject area.
