We owe Helga Franz the inspiration for our embroidery pictures: "The farm", "Colourful flowers" and "Summer idyll". Mrs. Franz began her studies at a private art school in Berlin in 1946, became a member of the Berliner Künstlerbund in 1973 and participated in a large number of exhibitions. Her paintings radiate warmth, peace and security. They are cheerful, so that we find a little serenity in them in our present time.
