DATA PROTECTION AND SECURITY

Security and the strictly confidential handling of your data is our top priority. To protect your data we therefore apply only the most modern security standards. Please read in the following what we do for your security in closer detail.

Use of your data
We use your personal data exclusively for purposes connected with your order, e.g. for the information on the status of your order and/or delivery status for internal customer analyses. We use your e-mail address in order to send you our newsletter - provided you have subscribed to this - and for sending you information circulars that contain up-to-date information about our shop offers, services, special offers and campaigns. Should you not (or no longer) wish to receive these circulars or the newsletter you can cancel these at any time free of charge via the link in the corresponding e-mail. Your authorisation to use your data in this form can, of course, be revoked at any time with immediate effect.

Conveying your personal data to third persons
It is one of our principles to treat your data absolutely confidentially and not to pass these on to third parties. For the comprehensive processing of your order we work together with service providers to whom we need to convey certain data (surname, first name, street) for correct delivery of orders. These are service providers for the delivery of parcels and for the processing of payment procedures (credit cards, invoicing and direct debiting). The persons commissioned with these processes are obliged to use the data only for the intended purpose and not to convey them to third persons under any circumstances.

Protection of your data by SSL
On all pages of our shop where you need to enter any personal data - e.g. in the sections Shopping Basket and My Account - we apply the latest security standard 256bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL). Your data is encoded immediately upon sending. All information requiring data protection (such as your credit card number, bank sort code, bank account number, name and address) are stored in encrypted form in a specially protected database.

Use of so-called "´cookies"
In order to be able to offer you our special services, such as a personal welcome message or saving items in your Shopping Basket, we need to be able to recognise you again. To do so we deposit small cookie codes on your hard disk comprising text and figures. Should you not wish to use this service you can find instructions under the help option in your Internet browser as to how you can deactivate the cookies. However, some functions of our shop may then no longer function.
